Cembengan become an annual event of PG-PS Madukismo as a sign of ground-distilled season, which was held in a cultural parade.
Parade starts from the front of the building Maducandya around the factory complex, celebrated with traditional arts, marching band, jathilan performance, community market, and plantation of buffalo’s and cow’s heads.

Ngasem Bird Market Moved to Dongkelan

Since 22 Aril 2010, The Ngasem Bird Market move into new market, Dongkelan. The event was livened up with Andong (Horse Carts) parade, which brought the traders to the Market Dongkelan, a distance of 3 km, is located at Jalan Bantul.
Ngasem market will be the location of the park, part of The Water Castle Tamansari.

Yogyakarta Chinese Festival 2010 – Cultural Parade

Longest dragon-shaped lantern appeared in the closing The fifth of Yogyakarta Chinese Festival 2010 or Pekan Budaya Tionghoa Yogyakarta (PBTY) that was held across the Jalan Malioboro to Ahmad Yani, Saturday night Feb 27, 2010; 06.35 pm.
The dragon lantern is made of cloth with a total weight of 2.6 tons, 1,300 lights and 40 batteries, which carried about 300 people, this is the longest dragon lantern in Asia, and has received recognition from the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI).
