Dieng Plateau looking more attractive because it was decorated by at least five lakes, each of which has its own story. Lake Telaga Warna and Lake Pengilon for example, is a lake that is characteristic other than because it was close, there is an interesting historical value.

In the Dieng Plateau  there are several temples in this area, the Dieng temple built during the Hindu religion, a relic statue of Siva, Vishnu, Agastya, Ganesha and other Hindu religious characterized other. Temples in the Dieng Plateau are named relating to the story or puppet characters in the story Purwa Mahabharata, for example Arjuna Temple, Ghatotkacha Temples, Dwarawati Temple, Bima Temple, Semar Temple, Sembadra Temple,  and Puntadewa Temple. Name of the temple has nothing to do with the function of the building and estimated the given name of the temple after the temple was abandoned or not used anymore.
