Since 22 Aril 2010, The Ngasem Bird Market move into new market, Dongkelan. The event was livened up with Andong (Horse Carts) parade, which brought the traders to the Market Dongkelan, a distance of 3 km, is located at Jalan Bantul.
Ngasem market will be the location of the park, part of The Water Castle Tamansari.

Bird market Ngasem known as the biggest bird market in Yogyakarta, Central Java. Although known as a bird market, but a variety of animals are also sold here. Ngasem are being developed as a tourist attraction that will be equipped with various facilities. This market is located on the north side of Taman Sari.
