Tugu Yogyakarta is a monument that is used as a symbol / emblem of the city of Yogyakarta. This monument was built by Hamengkubuwono I, founder of the Palace of Yogyakarta. Monument is located at the intersection Jl Jenderal Sudirman and Jl. This Mangkubumi Prince, has symbolic value and is a magical line that connects the southern ocean, and the mountain palace Merapi Jogja. (Jul 28, 2009)
